Thanksgiving Travel

Wednesday before Thanksgiving is one of the busiest air travel days in the US. This year is the first time in several years where I am actually flying on this day.  I am flying to Dublin and spending the long weekend in the emerald isle.  I have a whopping 3 hour lay over at Heathrow — and I am hoping to grab a quick shower at the Star Alliance Lounge before continuing on to Dublin.

What do we have planned in Dublin? Well, we are going to take the Guinness Brewery Tour, Take a Bike Tour (like we did here, here and here) and have dinner at a Michelin rated restaurant.  We are staying at a pretty new hotel in Dublin and staying a night in a castle a couple hours outside of the City.

What are you doing for Thanksgiving?  Are you braving the holiday travel rush or are you staying local and low key?
