In Toulouse we decided to stay at an Accor property – the Pullman Toulouse Centre. This business hotel was located less than a 5 minute walk from the historic town center. Surprisingly we found this hotel without any GPS issues. We were lead through some back streets and a couple alleys, but we managed to find the hotel straight away. We valet parked the car and headed right in.

We were greeted by very friendly staff: a bellman, the valet and the front desk clerk. Unfortunately these folks all spoke perfect English and would not speak French with me at all. I attempted to check in and ask about hotel amenities in French, but each of my questions were answered in English. This is a business hotel so it isn’t surprising that English is commonly spoken.

I have (complimentary) platinum status with Accor, so the manager left us a lovely little welcome note and two macarons and a couple other welcome treats.

Our room looked out the front of the building and allowed us to have a nice little view of the fifth largest City in France.
As a platinum member we were also given (in addition to our welcome sweets) two complimentary cocktails in the bar. We opted for two glasses of Champagne – what else?
I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was so close to the centre ville and was clean, quiet, sleek and modern. This was one of my first Accor stays ever and I really liked this place. I do wish I would have been allowed to have a conversation in French with these folks though.
Have you been to Toulouse? Do you dig the Accor chain like I do? What is your favorite place to stay in Toulouse?
